Members of the All Sports Supporters Club arrived in Umunede today ahead of the burial of the late Sunday Ndidi, father of Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, scheduled for tomorrow.
Led by the club’s leadership and under the guidance of Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, the supporters paid a condolence visit to the Ndidi family home.

In a show of unity and cultural support, the group arrived with drums and chants, using music to cheer and uplift the family and community during this moment of grief.
The visit reflected the traditional role of supporters’ groups in Nigerian football culture—not only standing behind players on the pitch, but also standing with them off it, especially in times of loss.
The presence of the All Sports Supporters Club brought moments of encouragement and emotional strength to the family and residents of Umunede, as preparations intensify ahead of the burial ceremony.
The club reaffirmed its solidarity with Wilfred Ndidi and his family, praying for comfort, strength, and peaceful repose for the soul of the departed, while assuring that members will remain fully involved throughout the burial proceedings.
