Sports247 reports that, speaking ahead of Sunday’s fixture away to Manchester United in the English Premier League, King is again looking up to Bassey to provide key passes that often help him build The Cottagers’ attack.
King, who clocked 19 years old on January 3rd, reflected on the quality that Bassey brings into Fulham’s game and admitted that he always enjoys having the Nigerian star playing behind him during their matches.
He then rated Bassey alongside his fellow-Nigerian colleague, Alex Iwobi, who also plays in Fulham’s midfield, but Josh concluded with a verdict that he feels the centre back’s impact more.
King reeled out, “He’s someone I look up to, and I like the way he carries himself on the pitch. I play in the pocket of midfield, and he tries to find me all the time with key passes.
“We definitely combine well on and off the pitch. Bassey and Iwobi are probably our team’s main characters. I may say Bassey picks a little more force, but they are both key to the team.”
