Nigerian-born striker, Tammy Abraham is ready to wave good-bye to Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi and other teammates at Beşiktaş of Turkey, as the lanky attacker is nearing a return to Aston Villa, Sports247 gathered.

Abraham is apparently home sick and keen on a return to England, where his aspirations have received a boost with fervid interest expressed in his signature by The Villans.
Abraham could now be heading for a long-term deal at Villa Park, as the club’s French tactician, Unai Emery is reportedly ready to sacrifice £50m of attacking talent to get a deal done for the striker.
Although top shots at Istanbul-based Turkish Super Lig outfit, Besiktas are not keen on losing Abraham, the dark-skinned striker appears eager to return to Queensland, where he previously starred for their national team.
With Abraham apparently feeling home sick, considering how he played for two years at AS Roma of Italy before moving to Turkey, the odds are high in favour of his return to Villa Park, where he previously had a glorious spell.
As memories of his previous days at Villa keep on recurring in a whirlwind, Abraham is set to say good-bye to Ndidi and other lads at The Rams, but his exit is likely to involve one of their prized defenders moving along with him.
A report by Daily Mail added, “Tammy Abraham is edging closer to rejoining Aston Villa, with optimism from all parties that a deal can be done in the coming days.
“The former Chelsea forward is currently on a season’s loan at Beşiktaş from Roma but is a favourite of Villa boss Unai Emery, who has made him a priority target for the winter window.
“Beşiktaş have been reluctant to allow Abraham leave but, while there are still some hurdles to overcome, optimism is growing that the 28-year-old can be a Villa player next week.
“It is understood that Turkish defender Yasin Özcan, who joined Villa last summer, but has been out on loan, will be included as part of a deal.”
Sports247 recalls that Abraham, who also previously played on loan at Bristol City, had a successful spell at Villa and helped them return to the EPL in 2019, hence his desire to replicate that blissful part of his career.
