Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso has officially appointed Coach Osho Fatai as its new Technical Adviser, ahead of the resumption of the second stanza of the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
Coach Fatai, who is returning to the Ajilete Warriors for a second stint, was unveiled on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, by the Oyo State Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The unveiling ceremony was conducted on behalf of the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Alhaja Wasilat Adegoke, and was attended by the Director of Administration, Mrs Olubisi Adegoke, and the Director of Sports Facilities, Mr Fatai Raheem.
Osho Fatai brings a wealth of experience to Crown FC, having previously handled clubs such as ASVO FC of the Benin Republic, Enyimba FC of Aba, and Remo Stars of Ikenne. His return is seen as a strategic move by the club’s management to stabilize the team and push for improved performances in the second half of the league campaign.
Speaking on the appointment, the club management expressed confidence in the technical ability and leadership of the new Technical Adviser, noting that he is expected to build on the current squad and reposition the team with the support of stakeholders, football lovers in Ogbomoso, and the Oyo State government.
The appointment comes as Crown FC intensifies preparations for the restart of the league, with the NNL second stanza set to kick off on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
Crown FC will resume league action with a home fixture against Owena FC, fondly known as the Owena Boys, at the Soun Stadium, Ogbomoso, in what is expected to be a colourful Valentine’s Day encounter.
The club’s management remains optimistic that the return of Coach Osho Fatai will usher in renewed momentum and improved results as the season progresses.
