Nigerian winger Efe Aghama has hit the reset button on his Spanish adventure, sealing a move from Cádiz to Huesca in a bid to reignite a season that promised more than it delivered.
As first reported by Cádiz-based journalist Pablo Vallejo and corroborated by Spanish outlet AS, the 21-year-old joins Huesca on loan until June 2026. Sources indicate Aghama is already in Huesca and could link up with his new teammates as soon as the transfer is formally announced.

Signed by Cádiz for a fee north of €700,000, Aghama arrived with genuine buzz. He wasted little time justifying the hype, impressing early in the campaign during his spell with Ceuta, where his pace, directness, and one-on-one quality marked him out as a clear difference-maker.
Under head coach Gaizka Garitano, the winger initially looked poised for a breakout run. His early appearances were sharp, energetic, and encouraging—exactly what Cádiz fans hoped for when the club invested heavily in the Nigerian prospect.
But football, as ever, is ruthless. Momentum stalled. Minutes dried up. Aghama failed to feature in Cádiz’s last three matches, and his role steadily diminished. In total, he made 16 appearances, returning one goal—a return that undersold his overall contribution and potential impact.
Now comes the pivot.
For Huesca, this is a calculated upside play: a young, explosive winger with proven ability at this level and something to prove. For Aghama, it’s a career-critical window—regular football, renewed confidence, and a chance to turn promise into production.
