The Super Eagles will have to overcome a ‘doom’s day prediction’ by Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa former coach, Dylan Kerr, who believes the Nigerian team will struggle to beat Mozambique in their AFCON 2025 round of 16 clash.
Sports247 gathered that, aside from warning that the Eagles will struggle against The Mambas on Monday in Fes, Morocco, Kerr equally believes that three-time African champions will not win a fourth title on January 18th.

Kerr is of a view that the Eagles will face bolts of pressure that could limit their chances for victory against Mozambique and equally noted that their inability to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup confirms their limitations.
The 58-year-old Kerr told Flashscore: “I fancy Mozambique to give Nigeria a good game. You never know. It will be a tough game and can go either way.
“The good run in the group stage puts them under pressure, because they won all of them. Usually, teams that struggle end up making the semi-finals and final.
“Nigeria should have a good team, but they didn’t qualify for the World Cup. So, something is not good on the side of their game.”
