Antalyaspor struggled to cope with Galatasaray’s tempo and precision, as the Istanbul giants dominated possession and dictated the rhythm of the contest throughout the first half.

Antalyaspor pulled one back in the 69th minute through Sven van de Streek, capitalising on a rare lapse in concentration to give the home supporters something to cheer.
However, any hopes of a comeback were quickly extinguished as Galatasaray maintained control and composure.
The match had a moment of concern for the visitors in the 85th minute when Victor Osimhen was shown a yellow card, a booking that rules the striker out of Galatasaray’s next league fixture.
Deep into stoppage time, Galatasaray put the result beyond doubt. Mauro Icardi sealed the emphatic victory in the 90+3rd minute, calmly finishing after a clever assist from Leroy Sané to cap off a dominant display.
