Taiwo Awoniyi’s Replacement Enters Nottingham Forest’s Radar?

Nottingham Forest of England may have apparently run out of patience with their injury prone Nigerian striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, as the English Premier League stragglers are now in the hunt for a new attacker, who could be his replacement.

Sports247 gathered that Awoniyi may have to consider his options in the January transfer window, as his club’s top brass have put their searchlight on Argentine youngster, Castro.

A report by TMW added that, while Awoniyi is still battling to regain full fitness, Forest have already put the young Argentine on their shopping list ahead of a likely swoop in the forthcoming market.

The report further revealed that Forest had a scout at Stade Olimpico to see Bologna draw 1-1 with SS Lazio, and the 21-year-old Castro led the line for his club, with which he has a deal running until 2028.

Althoigh Bologna continue to insist that Castro won’t leave for less than €60m, Forest are ready to take advantage of the Italian club’s financial concerns and believe they will get him for much less.
