Nigerian forward Stanley Iheanacho made an instant impact on Sunday, finding the back of the net just one minute after coming off the bench in CD Mafra’s 1–1 draw against Lusitano G.C. on Matchday 11 of the Portugal Liga 3.
Introduced in the 59th minute, Iheanacho wasted no time announcing his presence, smashing home a brilliant strike in the 60th minute to hand Mafra the lead.

His quick response highlighted his sharp instincts and clinical finishing—attributes that have increasingly defined his impressive development in Portugal.
Despite Mafra’s advantage, the visitors struck back later in the game to force a share of the spoils, denying the hosts all three points.
The goal, however, further underlines Iheanacho’s growing influence and reliability as a game-changing option from the bench. His ability to deliver under pressure will be a major boost for Mafra as they continue their push in the Liga 3 campaign.
