Lagos State YSFON Needs Sponsors To Execute Progressive Programmes – Epoche

The technical director of Lagos State chapter of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), Coach Sunny Epoche has revealed that the body is in dire need of both corporate and individual sponsors in order to carry out a number of progressive projects and programmes on their cards.

Epoche, a former player and highly respected youth football developer in Surulere area of Lagos, told Sports247 that the impact of YSFON is still being stunted in the state due to lack of sponsors.

While also revealing that he is currently in Kano for a youth programme organised by YSFON’s national body, the former assistant coach of British Council’s Community Action Through Sport (CATS) stressed that sponsors are needed to implement similar activities in Lagos State.

Epoche, who is also eagerly looking forward to employment by a national league side or an ambitious football academy anywhere in the country, added that ex-players and scouts should also step forward to support Lagos YSFON with funds.

He disclosed, “We are trying to host a YSFON national programme in Lagos State, but we are still looking for sponsorship. We are currently in Kano for a similar programme.

“The chairman of YSFON Lagos is Tajudeen Disu. He and all the committee members are trying to do great things. We are also appealing to ex-internationnsl footballers to help us put things in order in Lagos State.”
