Newly promoted Nigeria National League (NNL) outfit Kun Khalifat FC have initiated a sweeping house-cleaning, disbanding their entire coaching crew and management structure after a worrying slump that has left the club battling early-season turbulence.
The decision, confirmed in a statement released by the club hierarchy, followed a frustrating 1–1 home draw against Nasarawa United over the weekend—a result that stretched their winless run to four matches and further exposed the team’s struggles in adapting to life in the second tier.

With Kun Khalifat languishing in 16th place on the NNL table, the leadership said drastic measures had become unavoidable in order to “restore confidence and competitiveness” within the squad. The club noted that performances so far have fallen far below expectations, especially after riding the momentum of promotion into the new campaign.
According to the statement, an interim technical and administrative setup will be announced in the coming days as the club moves swiftly to steady the ship and rebuild from the ground up.
Kun Khalifat’s bold restructuring underscores the pressure on newly promoted sides to hit the ground running in the NNL—where survival demands rapid adaptation, strong leadership, and consistent results.
