Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) star sprinter, Kehinde Olanrewaju, stamped her dominance at the ongoing #27NUGAGames in Jos by completing a sensational sprint double, winning the women’s 200m final in 24.42s.

Remarkably, the podium finish was an exact replica of the 100m event, showcasing the consistency and class of the trio.

FUOYE’s Taofikat Sulaimon once again delivered a strong performance to secure Silver in 24.92s, her second silver medal of the Games. DELSU’s Favour Olise also maintained her form, grabbing another Bronze in 24.94s to close out the podium.

Olanrewaju’s back-to-back victories underline her status as one of the standout athletes of the championship, while the repeat order of finish highlights the fierce rivalry and impressive depth in women’s sprinting at this year’s Games.
