Nasarawa United have departed for Lagos ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Nine encounter against Ikorodu City FC, scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
The 46-man delegation includes 20 players, four technical officials, and five backroom staff, along with the club chairman, Solomon Babanjah, and four board members. Others in the traveling party are Hon. Larry Ven Bawa, Member representing Akwanga North in the State House of Assembly, and the State Football Association Chairman, Salisu Galadima. The team departed the local wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, aboard Max Air on Friday afternoon.

Brimming with confidence, the Solid Miners will be aiming to sustain their strong start to the season and protect their top-of-the-table position when they face the Lagos-based side.
Nasarawa United recorded a memorable 2–1 away victory over Ikorodu City last season at the same venue — a result they hope to replicate on Sunday in front of the Lagos crowd.
The eagerly anticipated fixture will kick off at 4:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Propel Sports Television.
