Nigerian forward Owolabi Blessing, popularly known as Kenya, has wrapped up the 2025 Kazakhstan Women’s Premier League season in spectacular fashion, netting a brace in her team’s final match to reach an incredible 30 goals for the campaign.
The prolific striker, a product of Nakamura Football Academy, Lagos, becomes one of the few female players in the league’s history — and the only Nigerian woman in Europe this season — to hit the 30-goal mark.

Representing Tomiris Turan FC, Owolabi delivered a commanding performance in their 4–0 victory over Yelimay Semey Women on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She opened the scoring in the 51st minute and sealed the win with another strike in the 81st minute, underlining her dominance in front of goal.
The 2025 campaign saw the 21-year-old on loan from FC Biik Shymkent to Tomiris Turan, after featuring in over a dozen matches for her parent club earlier in the season. Her versatility, clinical finishing, and composure have earned her recognition as one of Nigeria’s most lethal attacking exports.
Since leaving Nakamura Football Academy in December 2023, Kenya has steadily climbed the ranks of European women’s football. She spent the 2024 season on loan at Ordabasy, returned to FC Biik Shymkent, and later moved again to Tomiris Turan — where she delivered her most prolific season yet.
Her remarkable consistency has made her an invaluable asset and a beacon of Nigerian football excellence abroad. With her current form, analysts believe Kenya is on course for a major European move and possibly a call-up to the Super Falcons setup if her trajectory continues.
As the Kazakhstan league wraps up, Owolabi’s 30-goal haul not only cements her reputation as a natural-born finisher but also signals a bright and unstoppable rise in her blossoming football career.
