Former FIFA Referee Anietie Ferdinand Udoh Appointed Acting General Manager of Dakkada International FC

Dakkada International FC of Uyo has appointed Anietie Ferdinand Udoh, a former international football referee, as the club’s Acting General Manager ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.

The appointment marks a new chapter for the Uyo-based side as they aim to rebuild and reclaim their place among Nigeria’s top-performing football clubs.

Udoh, who enjoyed a distinguished career in international refereeing, now brings his wealth of experience and leadership to football administration. His transition from officiating to management is seen as a strategic move by the club’s hierarchy to infuse professionalism, discipline, and structure into the team’s operations.

In his new role, Udoh will be responsible for overseeing the club’s daily management, fostering stakeholder relationships, and driving initiatives to reposition Dakkada FC for success both on and off the pitch.

Described as a passionate football enthusiast and grassroots developer, Udoh is also tasked with forming a new board and appointing a technical crew ahead of the upcoming NNL campaign, which kicks off on November 8.

Club insiders say the new leadership is expected to bring stability and vision to Dakkada International FC as they prepare for what many believe could be a defining season in the club’s history.
