The Panthers, currently sitting atop the standings with a perfect record, showcased their dominance once again in Week 3, delivering a 41–0 victory over Lagos Alpha Flag Football at the Showtime Arena. The team’s performance, marked by solid defense and explosive offense, continues to underline their reputation as one of the strongest sides in the league.
Fuad also expressed his admiration for the rapid growth of flag football in Nigeria, crediting Showtime Flag Football for providing a platform that is transforming the sport into a national movement.
“I personally love this game and how it’s growing in Nigeria,” he told Sports247. “Flag football is giving young people new opportunities — we’re seeing more players, more fans, and more support from brands and families. That’s what makes it exciting.”
As the Showtime Bowl Series XIII moves into its decisive weeks, the Panthers are being hailed as the team to beat. Yet beyond their dominance, Fuad’s passion reflects a deeper message — flag football in Nigeria is no longer just a new trend; it’s a rising force redefining sports culture in the country.
With every touchdown at Showtime Arena, the message grows louder: the future of Nigerian sports is fast, inclusive, and powered by flag football
