Enyimba’s other goals came from Abraham Michael, who scored a brace, and Bassey John. The win sets a positive tone ahead of the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Head coach Stanley Eguma praised Aniebet’s contribution, describing the performance as “mature beyond his age.”
Sunday Aniebet is expected to feature again as Enyimba prepares for their next preseason fixture against Heartland FC in the Oriental derby.
