The gold medal went to Egypt’s Belal Alaa Tamer, who dominated the event with a powerful 14.53m throw, while Tunisia’s Jaoued Katr Emma claimed silver with a mark of 14.21m.

Judith’s podium finish is a significant morale boost for Team Nigeria as the athletics events gain momentum in Algiers. The bronze is also a reward for the athlete’s hard work and consistency, as well as a testament to Nigeria’s ongoing investment in grassroots sports development.

Officials from the Nigerian School Sports Federation (NSSF) expressed satisfaction with the performance and confidence in more podium finishes from the rest of the track and field contingent.

The athletics segment of the Games continues throughout the week, with Nigeria hopeful of building on Judith’s breakthrough performance to climb further up the medal table.
