The Evolution Cup has celebrated a landmark achievement as Nigerian striker, Ayodele Folahan Adeloye, becomes the tournament’s first major export, securing a four-year permanent deal with FK Vora, a top-flight club in Albania’s Kategoria Superiore.
Adeloye, who finished as the Golden Boot winner at the 2024 Evolution Cup, caught the attention of scouts with his lethal attacking prowess, physical presence, and tireless work ethic.

His performances were instrumental in earning him a professional breakthrough.
The striker, who honed his skills at Stars Builders Football Academy in Ogun State, now embarks on his European journey — a testament to his potential and the growing credibility of the Evolution Cup as a launchpad for Nigerian grassroots talent.
His transfer was made possible through the efforts of European scout Toni Bilandzic and FIFA-licensed agents Lindi Ngwenya and Mehdi Menji, who identified Adeloye’s talent during the tournament. Bilandzic played a particularly pivotal role in linking the young star with opportunities in the Albanian league.

Since its inception in 2022, the Evolution Cup has staged three successful editions, with the latest held in February 2025 in Abuja, where Green Lock FC lifted the trophy. The competition continues to solidify its status as a premier scouting platform, showcasing emerging footballers from Nigeria’s grassroots scene.
Adeloye’s move not only marks a personal milestone but also serves as a beacon of inspiration for future Evolution Cup participants aiming to make their mark on the international stage.
