Destiny Egbon lived up to his name at the Nigerian Junior Championships in Sagamu, storming to victory in the U18 Boys’ 100m final to claim his first national title in the age category.

Despite facing a strong headwind of -4.1 m/s, Egbon showed composure and determination, crossing the line in 11.09s to secure the gold medal.
