The 5Stars Premier League on Tuesday formally presented its 2025 Trophy Tour to Prince Adeyinka Adeboye, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, as a symbol of seven years of dedication to community-based football in Nigeria.
On behalf of the league, organizers expressed appreciation for Mr. Adeboye’s unwavering support during the tournament’s four Lagos-based seasons and emphasized the significance of this visit in deepening partnership opportunities.

The league—recognized as Nigeria’s largest grassroots seven-a-side competition—boasts participation from over 20,000 youth athletes, incorporating both male and female players across various age groups.

Speaking at the presentation, Prince Adeboye applauded the initiative, stating:

He pledged to support the league’s mission, highlighting how its activities align with broader national efforts to promote inclusive youth empowerment through sports, under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
