Lagos-based Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, FC Robo, has confirmed Monday, June 30th, 2025, as the official resumption date ahead of the 2025/26 league campaign.
Head Coach Emmanuel Osahon disclosed the development in a statement, expressing optimism about the team’s readiness to bounce back stronger after narrowly missing out on a Super Six playoff spot last season.

“We are returning with renewed energy, new strategies, and a deep sense of purpose,” Osahon said. “Our focus is to raise the bar and compete for top honours this season.”
The club is expected to kick off preparations with a comprehensive training program and possible pre-season friendlies to assess fitness levels and integrate tactical adjustments.
Known for grooming young talent, FC Robo will be relying on its exciting mix of youth and experience to mount a stronger challenge in the new campaign.
With the disappointment of last season still fresh, the team is motivated to rewrite their story and push for a return to the NWFL elite circle.
