With preparations in full gear for the historic 14th African Armwrestling Championship and 7th Para-Armwrestling Championship taking place in Abuja, Nigeria from July 23–27, 2025, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), led by Hon. Adeboye Adeyinka, continues to score major wins—this time with the official launch of the championship mascot and jersey, courtesy of Prostar Sports International.
Speaking after a high-level venue inspection at the NAF Conference Center, Abuja, Hon. Adeyinka, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, commended all stakeholders and dignitaries for their unwavering support.

He emphasized that Nigeria is on the verge of delivering Africa’s most impactful sporting event in 2025, adding:
“Today marks another milestone. The partnership with Prostar Sports International showcases what happens when innovation meets vision.
From jerseys rooted in African identity to a mascot that speaks strength and unity, this championship is becoming a symbol of continental pride.”

It was a night of color, culture, and community engagement, with the LOC launching a fundraising campaign to support the tournament’s execution.
At the heart of the celebration was Prostar Sports International, whose exclusive role as official kit sponsor brought prestige and professionalism to the event. Already known for powering leagues such as the Nigeria Premier Football League and Nigeria National League, Prostar’s new offering includes:
