Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) president, Engineer Ahmed Musa-Kida has thrown more light on details of the forthcoming stakeholders meeting, Congress and Annual General Meeting of the body.
Sports247.ng reports that Kida is excited with the strides basketball has made under his tenure and wants to use next month’s tripod meeting to evaluate the gains and chart a fresh course for greater things ahead.
Kida added that the meeting with Nigeria’s basketball stakeholders and other top brass of the game will review the achievements recorded so far and cross check on any ares where they might have been found wanting.
The NBBF boss further revealed that the Congress will lay a strong and stable foundation for the commencement of the men’s Division 2 League and Women’s League among other domestic programmes for 2019.
He added: “Our congress should be able to validate what it is that we have done so far.
“We shall start with the stakeholders forum and at the same time hold the congress and our Annual General Meeting.
“This is to look at the last one and half year, and review it to see the progress we have made so far.
“(We will also look at) areas of concern, where we need to improve on while also listening to the stakeholders.”
