> “I had offers for Germany and I had a good feeling there. In the end, I decided to play for Germany. It’s how easy it is,” Karim explained.
When asked to name his favourite Nigerian player, Adeyemi hailed legendary playmaker Jay-Jay Okocha as his all-time favourite.
> “I think the best player ever is J J Okocha,” he said. “Of course, there are other great players too—Osimhen is good, and from Leverkusen, Boniface is good.
Nigeria has a lot of good players, even players who don’t play for Nigeria; they have a lot of potential.”
Adeyemi’s comments showcase both his dual heritage and his admiration for Nigeria’s rich talent pool, even as he pursues his international career in the German setup.
