As part of the ongoing celebrations marking the second anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Vanguard, in collaboration with the Tinubu Support Group, is preparing for an exclusive award night to recognize outstanding contributors to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The event will highlight the accomplishments of elected and appointed officials who have played pivotal roles in driving the success of the administration’s initiatives.

Among the distinguished honorees is Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC). Dikko has been singled out for his significant efforts in advancing President Tinubu’s sports economy mandate, positioning Nigeria’s sports sector as a vital part of the nation’s economic growth.
His efforts have been instrumental in transforming the sports industry into a thriving economy with untapped potential.
The invitation to attend the prestigious event was extended by Hon. Shola Olofin, convener of the BAT Vanguard and Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), who, alongside his team, paid a courtesy visit to Mallam Dikko today.
The visit was both an opportunity to invite Dikko to the anniversary celebration and to express admiration for his relentless commitment to the administration’s vision.
Upon accepting the invitation, Dikko expressed his pride in being part of the administration’s success. “I accept the invitation. We are all working for the success of the administration of Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
We are his foot soldiers, and we are the ones to deliver the mandate on his behalf,” he stated.
The NSC Chairman also commended President Tinubu for his bold leadership style, highlighting that while some of his decisions might not be immediately popular, history will ultimately recognize their positive impact.
“Mr. President is a very bold person and takes bold decisions. Once he is convinced that it is the right thing to do, he doesn’t hesitate to take the decision. People may not like the decisions he is taking today, but I am sure, in the long run, history will be very kind to him,” Dikko added.
Looking forward, Dikko emphasized the importance of continued collaboration across sectors to ensure the successful implementation of President Tinubu’s reforms. “Our doors remain open to any collaboration that will help push Mr. President’s reforms in all sectors,” he concluded.
