3SC PLAYERS UNDERGO MEDICALS

In a bid to ensure that they are in perfect state of health, players of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan on Tuesday, underwent medical check at the Wellness Medical Center in Ibadan, sports247.ng reports.

 

Led by the General Manager of the club, Rasheed Balogun and the Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal as well as the technical crew led by Edith Agoye, all the players were involved in the comprehensive check up.

 

According to the Media Officer of the club, Tosin Omojola said the General Manager of the Oluyole Warriors, Rasheed Balogun, in his words said the essence of carrying out the medical check up was to ensure that the boys were in good shape both mentally and physically.

 

He also noted that as a professional side, there was the need for Shooting Stars to conform to global practice, hence the decision of the management to arrange the medical test for the players.

“The task ahead is enormous and the players must be in the best frame of mind to do the job. That is why the management decided to put them through this and it is really worthwhile”, said Balogun.

Corroborating the words of the General Manager, both the Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal and chief coach Edith Agoye, described the development as a great step to prepare the players both mentally and physically for the task before the team.

The Ibadan soccer lords will on Saturday, take on Giant Briller in a NNL Group B1 Match Day Two encounter in Enugu.
