Nigeria’s longest serving and most capped female Olympian, Funke Oshonaike received some accolades from the Nigerian Olympic Committee.
The veteran table tennis start, along with her other sports colleagues of Nigeria was showered encomium on the bodies social media handles.

It was also gathered by Sports247 that the ageless table tennis player in the last 29 years, has won over 11 African games, multiple continental medals, including 3 African championships. The last of which came after 14 years resilience.
According to the archives of the Nigerian Olympic, she is the first female athlete to qualify for seven Olympic Games, this feat was achieved between the year 1996 and 2020 consecutively.
