Grassroots clubs across Nigeria delivered impressive performances on Wednesday as the National Play-Offs of the 2026 President Federation Cup produced the teams that will compete in the Round of 64, main draw.
In the men’s category, Lagos-based G-12 FC advanced after defeating Dokkal Khairu FC of Osun State 3-2 on penalties following a goalless draw in regulation time.

Westgate FC of Edo State also progressed with a solid 2-0 victory over Amanda FC of Anambra State.
Sunshine Stars U-19 secured qualification with a comfortable 3-1 win against Harmony FC of Ekiti State, while Sporting Supreme U-19 of the FCT recorded the biggest victory of the play-offs, thrashing Reighner FC of Kogi State 5-0.
Kanta Warriors Feeders of Kebbi State cruised past Zamfara United Feeders 3-0, while Adamawa Academy edged El-Kanemi Warriors Junior Team 8-7 on penalties after an entertaining 3-3 draw.
In the women’s category, NAF Queens of the FCT defeated Model Queens FC of Kwara State 3-1 to seal qualification.
Mighty Jets Mata also progressed with a 3-1 win over Kada Queens FC.
Ikukuoma Queens booked their place in the next round after a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Bayelsa Princesses FC, while Esthington FC of Ebonyi State edged Zorha Queens FC of Enugu State 2-1.
