Ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 NLO campaign, Ayodele Akinpelu of Iganmu Tigers FC has said that the club is ready to bank on the group of players they have in their ranks as they look to have a memorable outing.
With the NLO date yet to be communicated by the league body, Iganmu Tigers FC will compete in the upcoming Creative League as they look to get in shape just in time for the new season, Sports247.ng writes.
“It’s not easy to tutor the younger ones, you shout, we complain and talk a lot because they don’t listen to instructions on time but from what we are teaching and imparting to them, they are coming up which means that they are ready for the task this season.”
“We are ready to use this player to challenge for this season, we are so assured, and hopefully some of them that stand out in the Creative will be able to join up with the senior players to play in the NLO“.
“Although we did trials to balance some key positions in the team notwithstanding, it won’t stop the young players’ growth because we need to fortify the team”, he clarified.
“Now, the fans can dream of a good outing for next season, they should watch out starting from the Creative League next week, we will give them the best of football”, he assured.
