John Max Properties midfielder, Emeka Nwankwo who won the player of the match award (POTM) following his sublime finish against HiQ Auto Centre to double his team lead is ecstatic over his performance and ultimately the opening win for the team as he warns rivals that there’s still more to come from him.
The Midfielder spoke exclusively to Sports247.ng after the game, he began, “I’m so pleased with this man of the match award, there’s more coming from me, you guys should look at.”
On his goal which has the potential of being selected as the goal of the tournament, Emeka said he never planned for such wonderful finish, it just came.
“It’s one of those goals that’s so unexpected, it was part of the strategy though, it’s such a good feeling.”
“I dedicate this award to my beautiful daughter and wife and as for John Max, we are wining this trophy, it belongs to us,” he boasted.
