Speaking after the game, coach Yelu said he had no excitement over the win as the team were incomplete and without a coach.
“This is a game I’m not too excited about despite the full-time score because in reality, we played a team without a coach, a team with just nine players on the pitch and no substitute on the bench,” he told Sports247.
“Playing such a match in the NLO is not encouraging and this win is not something I’m excited about because the team we played a team at their lowest and would have loved to play against an equal numbered team,” Akinyelu concluded.
