Chelsea have emerged as the club most likely to hook the signature of Nigerian-born youngster, Yisa Alao; ahead of three of their major English Premier League rivals – Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.
Sports247 gathered that, while City, Liverpool and United all lodged strong bids for the Sheffield Wednesday fast-rising ace, The Blues of London have emerged in the forefront with the strongest offer of all.

This was revealed in a transfer survey by a regional newspaper, Sheffield Star, which noted that Chelsea are leading the race to sign the 17-year-old left-back, who is being chased by the EPL’s biggest clubs.
The report adds, “Chelsea are winning the battle to land Alao. The agreement would include a high six-figure upfront fee and significant add-ons.
“It’s suggested Alao will move to Chelsea immediately this week, with the likelihood of him being registered with the U21 team.”
