Dar es Salaam — Young Africans (Yanga) cruised into the next round of the CAF Champions League after a commanding 2–0 win over Angola’s Wiliete Benguela at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, completing a 5–0 aggregate triumph following a 3–0 first-leg victory in Angola.

The breakthrough came in the second half when Ivorian attacker Pacôme Zouzoua opened the scoring in the 70th minute, before substitute Aziz Andabwile sealed the victory in the 86th minute, sending Yanga fans into wild celebrations.

After the match, Wiliete Benguela head coach Bruno Ferry admitted that his side was outclassed by the Tanzanian champions. The Frenchman praised the depth of Yanga’s squad, noting that even their bench players are of high quality. He singled out Zouzoua as “one of the most dangerous players,” highlighting the Ivorian’s ability to change games at any moment.
