Yahya Ibrahim Voted As NPFL Player of The Month of September

Barau FC prodigy, Yayha Ibrahim has been voted as the player of the month of September, 2025 in the Nigeria Premier Football League after impressive performance for the newly promoted Barau FC according to 54footballx.

The young and energetic forward scored the first goal for Barau FC in their first NPFL 2025/2026 season. He then scored a brace as the Maliya Boys defeated Kun Khalifat FC 3-1.

Ibrahim equalised in the 16th minute with a fine finish off Saidu Salisu’s brilliant assist, after Kun Khalifat has taken the lead in the 14th minute. He then, doubled the lead in the game following an excellent pass from Sugau Aliyu.

The brace for Yahya Ibrahim took his tally to three goals in three games for the Maliya Boys. His exceptionality continues as Yahya Ibrahim’s goal leveled the score for Barau FC against Kano Pillars, on Matchday-9 to marked his fourth goal of the season.

With the league heading to Matchday10, he is among the highest goal scorer chats with four goals alongside Godwin Obaje of Rangers Int’l and AbdluAziz Dalhatu of Niger Tornadoes with Ebuka Nwokorie topping the chat with five goals.
