World Cup Play-offs: Akor Adams Stays Positive For Victory Against DR Congo On Sunday

Sevilla of Spain striker, Akor Jerome Adams is staying positive that he and his colleagues in Nigeria’s national team will get their desired victory against DR Congo in Sunday’s World Cup play-offs final.

Sports247 reports that both sides will look horns in Rabat, Morocco, after Nigeria whipped Gabon 4-1; while DR Congo shocked Cameroon 1-0 in the second semi-final.

The 25-year-old attacker, whose opening goal for the Eagles on Thursday was his second in three games for the Nigerian team, urged their fans to keep on supporting the squad, as the players are all eager to give their best to get victory on Sunday.

“We should be as positive as possible and try to support the team. We are giving our hearts, we believe in the mission, and we trust ourselves.

“We are doing our best to make Nigeria proud. We just have to stay positive and give the right e nergy. We really need that,” Akor retorted.
