The Chief Executive Officer of Remo Stars Sports Club, Mr. Lookman Ogungbefun has advised club owners and team managers within the Ekiti State Football Ecosystem to focus more on the discovery and development of talents from the grassroots in their quest for elevation in football administration.
Mr. Ogungbefun gave this charge after taking some Ekiti club owners and managers on a tour of the facilities of the Remo Stars Sports Club complex in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State.
The soft spoken boss explained that it is easier to teach and correct the younger lads on the rudiments of the game as well as instill envisioned values in them while positioning the players for greater feats in the game.
He further explained that the philosophy of Remo Stars SC is all about youth development and that when a player is good enough, he or she is old enough to play , which explains why the club paraded the youngest squad at the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League
