“Today, I want to take a moment to say farewell to a club after my heart, Akwa United FC.”

“Five years ago, I was just a young boy with talent, playing street football, full of dreams, but unsure where football would take me. Thanks to the support of the Akwa Ibom State Government, I was discovered, given a platform at Ibom Youths FC, nurtured for two years, and eventually handed the privilege of becoming a professional footballer with Akwa United FC for three seasons. That trust has shaped my career and set me on the path I walk today.”

“I am deeply grateful to His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, for his continuous support of sports and young talents in Akwa Ibom State. My sincere appreciation also goes to “our father,” Elder Paul Bassey, who, as Chairman of Akwa United, believed in me, guided me, and now continues to inspire as Commissioner for Sports. I also want to thank Mr Jimmy Joshua for his guidance, mentorship, and every role he has played in my career. To everyone whose cheers and encouragement have helped me become the player I am today, I do not take your contribution for granted.”

“To the fans in Akwa Ibom, you have been my family. Your love, support, and voices from the stands have been my strength both on and off the pitch. Those beautiful moments will remain in my heart and inspire my smile as I step into another chapter of my career journey.”

“This is not a forever goodbye. No matter where life takes a family member, the heart always holds thoughts of home. It is simply time for me to face a new challenge in my career, and I wish our darling club the very best going forward. Akwa United will always have a special place in my heart.”

“Thank you for everything. With respect and care, I take a bow.”

He is yet to reveal his next destination ahead of the new season or a possible move away from the NPFL.
