Nigerian tennis prospect Oluwaseun Peter Ogunsakin has continued his impressive campaign at the 2026 Wimbledon Junior Championships, booking a place in the Boys’ Doubles quarter-finals alongside his Botswana partner, Ntungamili Raguin.

The African duo delivered a dominant performance on the grass courts of the All England Club, brushing aside American pair Safir Azam and Vihaan Reddy in straight sets to keep their title hopes alive.
Ogunsakin and Raguin needed just two commanding sets to seal a convincing 6-1, 6-0 victory, underlining their growing chemistry and confidence at one of the biggest junior tennis tournaments in the world.
The emphatic win sends the Nigerian-Botswana partnership into the last eight of the prestigious Grand Slam event, where they will face another tough test for a place in the semi-finals.
Ogunsakin has emerged as one of Nigeria’s brightest young tennis talents in recent years, representing the country at several international junior tournaments and continuing to build his reputation on the global stage.
