Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi delivered a solid performance in midfield as Beşiktaş J.K. claimed an important away victory over Gençlerbirliği S.K. in the Süper Lig Matchday 26 clash.

The match took an early turn in the 18th minute when Sékou Koïta was shown a red card, reducing the hosts to ten men.
Beşiktaş capitalized on the numerical advantage in the second half as Junior Olaitan opened the scoring in the 56th minute to put the visitors ahead.
The victory was sealed later in the game when Orkun Kökçü added a second goal to secure all three points for Beşiktaş.
Ndidi’s commanding presence in midfield helped control the tempo of the game against a Gençlerbirliği side that featured Nigerian duo Tom Dele-Bashiru and Henry Onyekuru.
The result keeps Beşiktaş fourth on the table with 49 points, leaving them eight points away from the European qualification places as the Turkish league season intensifies.
