Wikki Tourists Embark On One Week Break Warn Players Against Late Resumption

The Management of Wikki Tourists FC has announced a one-week break for the players after the Matchday 19 of the Nigeria Professional Football League which brought to an end the first round of the#npfl21/22.

Announcing the break when he addressed the players on behalf of the Management at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi, Team Manager of the Club Yakubu Yankari said the break is in line with LMC’s pronouncement of two weeks break for the league.

He said the camp will be opened on Sunday 27/3/22 while training resumes on Monday 28/3/22.

The Team Manager warned against late resumption reminding them of the task ahead in the second round which requires training.

He expressed the Management’s appreciation for the performance, discipline, and maturity they exhibited during the first round urging them to maintain the tempo in the second round.

Also speaking, the Technical Adviser of the club Kabiru Suleiman Dogo Commended the players for doing their best by finishing the first round in a good position.

Dogo reveals his intention to inject more good hands into the team for the second-round challenge.

He thanked the State Government, Management, and other stakeholders for their support to the team.

Wikki Tourists FC finished the first round in the 7 positions on the log with 27points from the 19 matches played.
