Where there is no law, there is no crime – Seun Fakorede

Oyo State ministry of youth and Sports in it’s effort to familiarize with the corp members posted to the ministry, organized a meeting with the corp members serving under ministry for youth and Sports.

The meeting was organized in line with policy of oyo State Government In other to make the corp members acquainted with the code of conduct of civil service, also to contribute to the development of youths in the state.The meeting which was held in his office, Secretariat, Agodi Ibadan.

Earlier in his speech,the Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Honorable Seun Fakorede charged the service corps to maximize the one year service as their stepping stone to their success in life.

He stated that most corp members posted to the state’s civil service in the past have proven to be highly in experience and ignorant of work ethics,adding that this informed the need to familiarize the new corps members within the working environment of the civil service.

While reiterating the state Government’s commitment to the welfare and well being of corp members in the State, Honorable Seun Fakorede advised the corp members to know and abide by the norms and culture of their host community and the work ethics of their place of primary assignment.

He implored the corps members to be dedicated to the service of the nation through their various places of primary assignment and wishing them a successful stay in Oyo State.

He therefore instructed the corp members to completely shun absenteeism at their primary place of assignment.

In their separate remarks, a corp member lauded the leadership of the state Government, Governor Seyi Makinde for his commitment to youth development in the state.
