The victory came after a compelling match against Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.

In a post-match interview with sports247, Paul Adedayo Apata shared his joy, stating, “I feel really happy. I feel excited about it, honestly, I didn’t know I could do it, but I just had to believe. Yeah, I believe it was a great effort from my teammates. Yeah, they did well for them, if not for them we will not be here. Great teamwork that brought us here.”

When asked about the future, Paul Adedayo Apata expressed his commitment to the national games next year. He affirmed, “Of course. If there’s an opportunity for me to be there, of course, I will be there.”

He stated, “The last national games were not good enough for us. But we came back and fixed our errors and did our work. Right. This is the result.”
