Olopade also appreciated the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria (PCN) for its partnership in bringing the event to Nigeria, noting that PCN President Sunday Odebode played a significant role in securing hosting rights for the country.

“We are working hand in hand with the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria, and we are confident that para-athletes from across West Africa will enjoy a world-class experience in Abeokuta,” he added.
