The reelected heavyweight sports supremo went on to promise that he will stoutly face the task of elevating weightlifting to a higher level because he has a very deep passion for weightlifting.
He stated, “For us, it is work. What we know how to do well is just to work and work. We believe in the sport of weightlifting, and that’s why we are here.
“We are very passionate about weightlifting, and we love it. I’ll be proud to see weightlifting become the best and number one sport in Nigeria. Not only in Nigeria, but also in Africa and the world.”
Sports247 adds that Ibrahim will have adequate backing for his vision and mission, as former international weightlifter, Lawrence Iquaibom, was elected as the body’s new vice-president during the same election.
