‘We Will Continue To Partner with Stakeholders To Promote Football In Nasarawa State’ – Salisu Usman Galadima

Nasarawa State Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Salisu Usman Galadima has disclosed that his administration will continue to partner with all interested parties to promote football in the state.

The football administrator revealed this at the opening ceremony of the 2024 edition of the Emir’s Cup in Lafia, where Doctor Academy traded tackles with Kwandare United.

“I would like to appreciate His Royal Highness, Alhaji Sidi Mohammed Bage, the Emir Of Lafia, for keying into this initiative of annually organizing One Emir’s Cup and as a Father, he is one of the critical stakeholder of football within the state and we as an association will continue to hand in our support for the growth of the tournament”.

When asked about the plans of the association regards to football development, Salisu Usman Galadima said the plans are already on ground.

“Yes, we are about to hit the ground rolling as we’ve earlier revealed, we plan to host some grassroot tournament within the state, the u15, u17 and u20 tournaments, Governors Cup and we will host some seminars for teams, coaches and referees so as to enlighten them on the new rules regarding their respective fields, he concluded”.

34 teams will fight for glory at the 2024 edition of the Emir’s Cup as Chairman Organizing Committee,Mallam Abdullahi Hassan Santuraki admonished all teams to play safe and play by the rules of the game.
