We respect the office of the honourable Minister – Amaju Pinnick

Following allegations levelled by honourable minister of Sports on NFF in the area disrespecting Roles of offices. The NFF President Amaju Pinnick who spoke in an interview monitored on National television spoke exclusively regarding the allegations levelled on him and his executive board members about disregarding roles of offices.

We are bound by the rules of the country, we respect the laws of the country, we are governing by the laws of the this country.

In terms of roles, i personally don’t understand what the honourable minister meant by that, i don’t think there is anywhere we have gone wrong respecting the roles of the game, it is an ambiguous statement i must say.

To me, i don’t want to believe, what he meant by we do not respect roles of duty , but clearly we respect A-Z of what have being given to us as our duties and roles.

Beyond that we have shown enormous regards for the honourable minister and believe he’s a representative of the president as a minister.

At every point in time, we shall accord him the due respect, maybe once or twice there might been a slip, which of cause we did, we went up to him and we apologize, which is what is required of us as good leaders.

We are subject to making mistakes, but if you identify your mistakes and you learn from your mistakes, you’re resurgent enough to bounce back immediately, which forgiveness is key on what ever you do.

And occasionally were we felt we slipped, we have gone back to say honourable minister we are sorry for such mistakes , we are humans we prone to making mistakes.

Were he said and feels we intentionally want to disrespect him or his office as the honourable minister, it is not my style, and i don’t see any reason why me or my executive members we wouldn’t want accord him his respect as the honourable minister of Sports he concluded.
