“First of all, I want to thank God Almighty, Almighty God for the grace given unto us to come and participate in this competition. And since we came, we saw and we conquered,” he said, attributing their achievement to divine intervention.

Reflecting on the match, Udochi acknowledged the initial challenge of falling behind 2-0 but emphasized the resilience and belief within the team.

“They scored us first and they scored second time. Normally we were down, but something kept telling us that we could do it, we could do it. We have done it before,” he recounted, highlighting their determination to overcome adversity.

Despite the deficit, Udochi credited his team’s unwavering resolve and the grace of God for their eventual comeback.

“This motivated us to put ourselves together and come in. But just that the grace of God was upon us,” he added, underscoring the pivotal role of faith and determination in their success.

When asked to rate their opponents, Udochi acknowledged the quality of Charlesann FC, rating them at 70% and recognizing them as formidable adversaries.

Looking ahead, Udochi expressed hope for more opportunities for young talents to showcase their skills in future competitions.

“We pray to see more like this. So that many more talents can express the gifts God has given unto them. So, they can remove the crimes outside the arena.

So that they can also sport for young talents in the field of play,” he concluded, highlighting the positive impact of sports in nurturing and empowering youth.
