In an interview with Sports 247, Saheed stated, “After losing our first match 3-2, we went back to training, identified our weaknesses, and since then, we haven’t conceded any goals leading up to the final.”

When asked about his feelings regarding reaching the final and his expectations, he confidently said, “Our plan has always been to reach the final, and we believe we can win it.”

Reflecting on their match against First Bank and whether they deserved the victory, he explained, “Playing two matches in a day is challenging. We won 2-0 against First Bank in the morning. Facing Spartans in the second match, I was 99% sure of winning because both teams hail from Agege, and we are the current champions of Agege. We dominate Agege right now.”

Addressing the notion of testing their skills, strengths, and abilities against Spartans, Ayangbile Saheed declared, “In Agege, no team can match us. When we heard that we were facing the Spartans in the semi-finals, I just knew we were going to win. I am confident that we will win tomorrow’s match as well.”

He regards John Mikel Obi as his role model and has followed his career closely, stating, “I watch his video clips, study his training skills, and everything. Mikel Obi is my role model.”

This marks his third year with Trade Safe FC, and he eagerly anticipates their ascent to the premier league next season.
