Alhaji Dikko Mohammed Yakubu, Chief Executive Officer of Dikko Football Academy, Keffi, has declared his commitment to building a strong future for grassroots football in Nigeria through structured development, international collaboration, and community-focused investment.

Speaking during a media briefing in Keffi, Yakubu emphasized that his academy is not only training young players but preparing them for life-changing opportunities both locally and abroad.

“We are building a future for Nigerian football—one that starts here in Keffi but reaches the world,” he said.

As part of this vision, Dikko Football Academy has commenced partnerships with foreign scouts and agencies, aimed at securing international trials and contracts for promising talents. The academy also unveiled a new team bus earlier this year to support logistics and improve professional standards.

Beyond sports, the academy incorporates academic support, life skills coaching, and mentorship programs, with Dikko Mohammed Yakubu noting that the project is grounded in discipline, faith, and long-term impact.

“This is not just about football—it’s about building young men who can represent Nigeria anywhere,” he added.

Alhaji Dikko called on stakeholders across the country to invest in youth development through sports and affirmed his readiness to expand the academy’s reach across Nasarawa State and beyond
